Join us for a relaxed evening exploring kintsugi through collage.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with lacquer and gold. Rather than hiding the cracks, they become part of the finished piece — a way of seeing imperfection as something worth celebrating.

We’ll take this idea and work with paper, collage and gold leaf instead. There’ll be a selection of beautiful images, textured papers and a variety of materials to cut, tear, layer and experiment with.

There’s no right or wrong way to do it, and no artistic experience needed. It’s simply a chance to step away from the usual routine, spend a few hours making something and see where it takes you.
